poor and unprofessional. the video does not show the nose-cap being jettisoned. Why can't DRDO ever learn to release a proper video. I'm sure there must be many more videos of the launch from different angles. Why cant DRDO release them.
Well said @ aboveTo be frank there are no proper pics (Official) pics of Su 30mki even.I mean what is the matter with the GOI, Give us some proper pics. Can't really tell about missiles
its not somekind of bollywood movie that can be bared and dared open before the publik!
anons, look around on the web, there are many good videos on youtube.shiv could we have the url of this video ?
they use it to develop an anti ballistic missile in standby mode that just pop out from the ground to destroy incoming missile
I think DRDO is over-emphasizing ballistic missiles and under-emphasizing cruise missiles. Quick-reaction, precision cruise missiles is where the cutting edge's at these days. These ballistic missiles may help you to successfully land a warhead 5000 miles away, but they won't help you win any war, certainly not when the threat is a dispersed threat (soldiers, assets on the ground) on the ground. It's a bit like swatting a fly by throwing a grenade at it.
Anon@10:42read wiki on shaurya, it's built to defeat ABM systems, something a cruise missile can only dream of for the next decade.also its a tactical ballistic missile, it is definitely meant to be used in war.
wow! she is fast! On close observation one can see booster separation at 15 seconds.
Was this test a success? The DRDO may claim it as a success, but what about the army. The Brahmos was test-fired around two weeks ago and the army is still to make up its mind whether the test was successful or not!
i am sure this missile is a technology demonstrator for building the AD1/AD2 anti ballistic missile.DRDO is just validating its hypersonic tolerance, guidance and thrust capabilities and fooling media about it being surface to surface.
anon, the joke is on you !! LOL !!
