IAF-USAF Joint Transport Exercise This October

The photograph to the right shows Indian paratroopers dropping out of a USAF C-130E aircraft near Agra during Exercise Cope India 2003. On October 19 this year, India and the US will begin conducting a five-day exercise involving their transport aircraft. According to a statement issued today by the IAF, the participating IAF aircraft include the IL-76, An-32 and Mi-17 chopper, while the Americans will field a C-17 Globemaster-III, a C-130J Super Hercules and a C-130H tactical transport. The IAF statement says, "The exercise is aimed at evaluating the efficacy of joint operations in the realm of tactics, aero medical aspects and Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) missions involving medium and heavy lift transport aircraft."

Guys: someone just shredded Vincent on the other post ... ENJOY !!

First things first, The Name
“Vincent”
Vincent is a dogs name.. there was a rabid stray we brought into our house once, we named it Vincent, when it became too gross to deal with , we shot it.. it didn’t die at first, but the second shell did the job. Anyways.. all I am trying to say is Vincent is a dogs name, and dogs are creatures which occasionally should be kicked. Isnt Vincent the dog in Lost ?
http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0030734/

“with the disposable income of an infant”,
he has achieved nationwide fame and flown countless jets and covered countless wars interviewed countless world leaders... The obscure one is you.., with yet another job, amongst millions, humping that excel file all day, making mundane small talk in the bathroom, going nuts on the printer, driving that s hit ass GM car to work…living in yet another mundane American city with the same identical downtown, mcdonalds, and people with sub 110 iq’s as the next city.. don’t blame anyone.. the people who were thrown out of Europe because of poverty and lack of brains were your ancestors,
.. yes, i see exactly who u are, u are that guy from the movie Office Space, with your nasal sounding “Yaahhhh.. we're gonna need to go ahead and move you downstairs into storage B. We have some new people coming in, and we need all the space we can get. So if you could just go ahead and pack up your stuff and move it down there, that would be terrific, OK?” Anyways, how do u know what a senior indian tv journalist earns ? are u one ? and while you blog, and unjam the printer he flies at Mach 2.. who is the loser ?

“but discreet threaded shirt, the air is odorless, my pen glistens, thin manicured fingers are steepled and my expression is slightly quizzical, though gentle.”

When you go home to your wife in that fake marriage, and she asks for sex, do you accidentally put it into your 12 year old son ? First you have the name of a dog, and secondly you are either a flaming happy boy homo , or perhaps worse a paedo.. seriously dude, people don’t write stuff like that and post on Fighter Aircraft forums.. so get your hands out of your pants, go to you porn . cm and choose male on male.. and have a FIELD day. ;)”MY PEN GLISTENS”… “SLIGHTLY QUIZZICAL” HAHAHAHAHAHAH .. I came when u said “gentle” though

“He is just a hack who won't ever be a pilot and who makes cringing broadcasts of planes taking off narrated in a stentorian voice, and who is not military savvy at all.”

“Wont ever be a fighter pilot” Ya, he is definitely aiming to join the airforce after decades in the media.. He had it figured out all along .. will do my training in the media, and then apply to be a fighter pilot ..tard..

“who is not military savvy at all”.. name me another Indian journalist that this forum or any others say has more knowledge..

“And that is an ugly cockpit”
You got one right there champion..but u might want to think what the real ugly cockpit for u is, this plane or what waits for u at home..

Perhaps the Americans should start charging the Indians for training them, because the Indians are so far behind, they're like the 23 year old 'kid' in high school who is always made to sit in the corner facing the wall.

C-17, C-130 are all top of the breed planes. Try not to leave fingerprints all over the place inside.

go fuck yourself vincent!!!!

Indian troops - be it air, sea or land are FAR better than the fucking cowardly yanks...

The only thing is we indians really lack in quality of weapons...but we are trying to bridge that gap.

But dare you question the calibre of the Indian serviceman.

Fuck you man..fuck you...now you've really crossed the line.

btw, ask the yanks not to leave their cowardly footmarks in the IL-76s that they jump from...

Let's see now in the picture here - a plane that actually comes with a well designed RORO rear ramp and a loadmaster who is not drunk - that is an American C-130, not a Russian Flying Turd-76 or 124.

Furthermore, those gentlemen, whom one so artistically described as scraping their bottoms, are none other than Indian paratroopers, so quickly identified for the simple reason that American soldiers take off their white motorcyle helmets when they reach the workplace and swap for proper MICH helmets. Indian paratroopers apparently keep theirs on all the time, even when they jump or shower.

Haha, you just laughed at your own soldiers.

Try not to crowd around the Strykers or ask for rupees to clean their vision blocks.

Vincent , what are u trying to create hear , Your mind is under estimating wrongly , try to cure the virus .

The 'Russian Flying 124' or An-124 is often rented by NATO to transport equipment....

Did that make your squirm Vicnet?

Or is your muzzle hurting?

Dude, it is one thing to reply to an idiot who is just getting his kicks from getting us all riled up... why descend to his level and take cheap shots at the Americans?

I can tell you from experience that the regular American soldier/sailor/pilot is nothing like the indisciplined and overbearingly arrogant jock portrayed in Top Gun. He is highly disciplined, unassuming, and thoroughly professional. Most of their officers are intellectually inclined... they are thinking soldiers, not the all-brawn-no-brains idiots they show in the movies.

More importantly, they acknowledge the fact that their Indian counterparts are similar to them in these aspects - disciplined, highly trained, and very professional. There is a lot of mutual respect, and everyone knows that exercises like these can be great learning experiences for both sides.

Guys, the more I read about Indo-US exercises, the more I get the impression that the yanks and we are planning/training for a future raid to neutralize/capture Paki nukes/nuke control points. I figure that it will be a raid involving Indian SFs using US assets which makes sense since the US might be averse to such a risky operation in Pak using US personnel and it is impossible for Indian SFs to conduct such an operation using Indian Assets. Hence we are looking at an operation in which US aircraft presumably flying in supplies for the US troops in Afghanistan will instead be flying in Indian SFs to suspected nuclear weapons depos/nuclear command posts in Pakistan. This is just another of my conspiracy theories.

The americans may be thinking soldiers etc., but they are cowards. No doubt about it.

Physically and mentally, Indian and American soldiers don't live in the same world. I think each one will learn from the other. I'm not a Jedi master, but I would say that the approach of such meetings has to be umble.
The good point for Indians soldiers is that they will have a taste of what they will be able to do with their future C-130J and C-17 in terms of transport capabilities, cargo handling, etc.
Hamburgers and Coca for everyone during 5 days!

That's a very strong possiblity, if Pakistani MRBMs are in danger of falling into Al-Qaeda / Taliban hands. They would also need the nuclear football codes to arm the missiles.
