Lets hope he does something for the modernization of the Army /equipment...........there is so much to do; virtually every 'arm' of the army is way way behind; the list of pending "to-do" things is really long..........

He should look into the reasons behind the reluctance of the Indian youth about joining the army and address those issues......shortage of 12,000 army officers needs to be taken care off urgently.

Let's hope armed forces will be corruption free under his leadership.

So on his shoulders will lie the task of leading the battle into lahore and pindi.

If there is indeed an India - pakistan war in the next 2-3 years, he will be the man who will lead india's mighty army.

Lets hope he has the guts and wherewithal to take on MOD and babudom with same determination as needed to lead the army into battle.. Much of the delay with artillary and equipment is coz of the beurocrats who sit on files, take bribe and impose sanctions on all companies who have the equipment needed by the army..

Who is the leader he is thanking? As we all know that unlike china we dont have any good and honest leaders, unfortunately we have to import mafia dons from a foreign land and hand over our nations leadership

This man doesnt look timid.....hmmmmm that's good. Lets see how the bureaucrats handle him or maybe vice versa

India has been ruled and looted by Turks, Uzbeks, Afghans, Persians, Arabs, British for 1000 years just because of this lack of leadership and of course the "me myself mine" attitude among some self centered Indians.

Iron fist within a velvet glove.

That is the Army's new mantra to tackle MOD Babus and Netas.

LOL.

He looks like a soldier, a Hands-on person. No one would want to be on the wrong side of him! The man to lead the 2nd largest Army in the world!

senior nursing officers whose children are studying in higher classes are being posted to such a place where there is no scope for the children to undergo any coaching classes and no proper schooling. certain nursing officers are always posted near their hometowns only.lets hope that the chief of army staff will look into this matter to help the unlucky nursing officers.
