More MiG-29Ks Signed, MiG Chief Says MiG-35 Only Logical

After signing India up for 29 more MiG-29K deck-based fighters, RAC-MiG chief Mikhail Pogosyan pushed the MiG-35. Pogosyan is understood to have conveyed to the Indian side that with the Indian Navy to finally operate 45 MiG-29Ks -- with more options being made available -- and with the government spending close to a billion dollars ($964.08-million to be precise) to upgrade the IAF's 78 MiG-29Bs, he is quoted by sources to have said that it would be "a gamble" to dilute multirole superiority any further. But that's his job.
