What was the reason for carrying out this test. Were certain technologies validated or anything specific.
Do mention the reason for the test.

The missile is so thin, our metallurgy is lacking this is why we cannot build thicker cross section and get greater range. Sigh. About time we build a 15000 KM missile and say 'good morning' to enemy number 1.

LOL...ur knlowledge is pathetic...

and a missile having range 5000km (agni III, under induction)is enough for the chinks...so don't be a moron...

more than 60years of independence and we do not have even 5000km ballistic missile and worst we are happy with a mere 2000km this missile is not even in serial production...SHame

The rason for the test was to make sure that it still works....remember the last couple of tests had issues with them. These have not been the most reliable systems and IA needs to test them often. Also remember Pak tested some recently....and a reply was needed.

@ chada sigh
dude this test was an end user trial...in layman's words, the army is learning how to use it...

so stop giving silly comments...
