I thought the KA-226 is just another junk ..until i saw this video ..even though it looks just like its our of cold war era helo ...its maneuverability is good ... Am not sure abt the avionics...
Any updates on the RFI that the Indian Navy has issued for a sub-4500 kg twin engine SAR helicopter to replace the Chetak. Are Agusta Westland, Kamov and Eurocopter also being sought to provide details ? Any chance of the Nvay toeing the Army/AirForce line and accepting the same aircraft (will help by ensuring commonality of spares)?

Which is better in ur opinion?
The Ka-226T is more versatile. It has a modular design which enables it to be reconfigured for a variety of roles.
kamov looks quite roomy...

Yeah, it looks roomy, but the avionics looks clumpsy ... May be they refined it later ...
May the best one win ..

There is also a rumor that the RFP has been cancelled ... Is it true
