A Tale of Two Worlds. Our private sector never ceases to carp and cavil against the government making unfathomable demands. Please do not mistake the rugged, quaint looks to mask durability and quality. It is really WYSWIG ... What you see is what you get! In the other world no one complains of unbounded freedom ... their hard work speaks volumes for itself - their greatest ambassador.
However, saying that, it is very gracious and magnificent on part of GOI to share their possessions with people passing through difficult times.

@ Anon The very "filth rusty TATA truck" is one of the millions trucks that serves the mouth of whole nation and if you are Indian then even you n your family.

Now Kyrgyzstan may be importing expert truck drivers from India.

LMAO what is it with that stupid truck? It even has a fake 'wheel' dangling from front! Not to mention other 'creative' slogans and decorations all over the truck. Are such junks allowed to roam on out IAF airbases? Can they not afford a clean Volvo or Scania? Shocking.

Half of the goods transported in this country is carried by this Junk .

I'm not the anon who made the first post, but irrespective of it "feeding" the nation - its still ugly and dirty. If it didn't I'm sure the rail would or other trucks would. You really should have a look at some trucks used in other countries. Infact, that "dirty" beast (most of time) messes up the road because it only has 1 rear axle and it is loaded beyond the limit - thereby putting undue stress on the road. If you don't know what I mean, look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Bridge_Gross_Weight_Formula

You should buy one and keep drive it to work if you like it so much. Indian trucks are the ugliest in the world. But then again, if people like you think they are "good" then why would there be room for improvement. You should really look at whats available around the world before you come to decide that.

Do you really think.. that if this ugly piece of crap was not hauling freight around the country there wouldnt have been something else doing the job? Maybe trains or better looking trucks.. so your "feeds the nation" argument is a moot one.

I would like India to get more class in everything it does, including hauling freight. and that is one ugly biach!
