Guys dont jump with joy as for as the Brahmos is concerned vis a vis China who has long range missiles and megaton nuke punch......China can annihilate India, India cant do the same......

@anon 11:54 India also has long range missiles and long range fighter bombers which can assure many kiloton damage back too (if not megaton)..brahmos wud b nice n handy to fry large warships and select shorter range targets of any country that casts an evil eye on india...

@anon 11:54:see india is way behind china in terms of strategic nuclear arsenal and also in delivery systems.we have around 60 -80 warheads as compared to around 250 chinese warheaads.but in my view,in nuclear realm numbers doesn't matter because the damage done by a few strikes is enormous and also a nuclear wa b/n china and india is a far-off thing.now what brahmos and nirbhay like missiles provide us is short to medium range precision strike capability(for tactical use) which can be very helpful in blunting any forward thrust by chinese army in north east sector.

Could anyone tell me the Indian and Russian contribution to the Brahmos programme? Would be appreciated. A Russian guy told me that Russia is developing 90% of the missile.

Brahmos is highly useful on all fronts and in all modes.
