gun looks too small for such a big vessel. Am i missing something?

This is not a destroyer, its a coastguard vessel designed to deter close rang targets with CRN and deploy tactical inflatable boats & troops for hijacking and neutralizing unwarranted vessels....
It way better than sending in a friggin destroyer or a large ship like we used to ,its economical and efficient .

Doesn't Vijit mean "one who has been conquered".....

@regular 10:00,
'vijit' here should mean the 'winner' or 'victorious'.As in '..... vijit ghosit kiye jate hain.'
My guess.

That would be 'Vijayee ghosit kiye jate hain' for the winner. The loser would be 'Vijit'.

Why can't India fit cruise missiles like the Russians did with their Caspian sea fleet.
