(the station I work for) reports that the final commercial bids in India's $12-billion Indian medium multirole combat aircraft (MMRCA) competition are to be opened on Friday, November 4
. The two finalists, Dassault and Eurofighter, were contacted this week seeking their presence at the Ministry of Defence on November 4 for the authentication and opening of commercial bids. According to procedure, the contents of both bids will be read out to all present and then signed by all members of the Contract Negotiation Committee.
