Cool! Awesome images! :D
This is awesome! I was waiting for the whole day for high-res images. Thank you so much!
Welcome home INS VikramadityaThe formation looks impressive
The last but one photo has a sea-harrier next to Vikramaditya. Is it landing?
In the 2nd last picture, is that a Sea Harrier.
Along with indigenous cryogenic engine launch of gslv and coming home of vikramaditya is a good sign. But ominous signal for enemies. Jai hind
I have been dreaming of this moment for the last 14 years. It was worth the wait to see our own CNGs with Virrat that has shouldered things so long and the passing of the baton to Viki.I want to see Viki at Rimpack soon. What a sight it will be see Viki with it's Nimitz's counterparts.Congratulations to the INS and God bless India!
What's the small aircraft at the rear of Vikramaditya in the 7th pic ?? Is it a Sea-harrier from Virat flying by ??
Thanks for the images, Bro...Cool!!! Indeed.

Awesome! Looks like an entire CBG moving together. Hey Shiv, Are all other ships from Indian Navy? Another ACC is accompanying, looks like Viraat. Is that right?

In reply to Anonymous @ 10:38 PMDear paki buddy, didn't you guys use to say same thing about INS Vikrant before 1971 war... that it would be a sitting duck for PNS Ghazi. But what happened eventually has made mark in the history and kept the enemy mouth shut for quite a while. Now you are doing the same mistake... misconstruing INS Vikramaditya as a sitting duck for your outdated subs... whereas everyone can smell the smoke coming out of your rear. we know, the pics above have scared the shit out of you. You think India doesn't have subs or anti-sub warfare. What do you think the other 9 ships visible in the vicinity are for? Surely they are not out to party or vacation. And these are just the visible surface ships. There are subs under water which your blind and scared mind cannot see. All other ships/subs are to protect just one magestic hell-of-a-ship (spelt VIKRAMADITYA) which will unleash hell on enemies. Once INS Vikramaditya is done with its job, you guys will keep your trap shut for another quite-a-while :-)
Hahaha pn does they have fuel to run them. Sitting eggs
Wait a moment - have they even installed the CIWS systems? I thought that was due only in 2017! Also, the Brahmos missiles should be installed on aircraft rather than aboard ship, given the increased aircrew and the size of standard VLS launch systems.
Hi Shiv, I'm a regular visitor to your blog. This is surely the best defence blog of India. However, lately your posts have decreased in frequency. On the other hand you seem to now appear in TV more often. I can only request you to update more often in something you love other than anchor political debates on TV.Thanks again for giving us such a wonderful defence blog.
