VIDEO: IAF Jaguar Captures Indian Cruise Missile In Flight

Easily the most breath-taking bit of video out of the DRDO in years: this is India's Nirbhay cruise missile filmed from the cockpit of an Indian Air Force Jaguar jet that formated with the weapon over the Bay of Bengal during its second test in October last year. The pilot in the back cockpit of the twin-seat Jaguar trainer got these gorgeous, never-before seen shots of the cruise missile in its extended cruise phase above the clouds. (Hat tip to my friend M. Anantha Krishnan who scooped the video first).

@singam - Hearty congratulations to DRDO. Great job folks.

I have seen videos of such type of flight testing before, but never by India. The IAF Jaguar team are sure very lucky chaps.

Great in all ways both the video and the success

Is that noise coming from the plane or the missile?
